Cookie statement

The internet pages of [abrtherapy] use cookies. Cookies are text files that are stored in a computer system via an internet browser.

Many internet sites and servers use cookies. Many cookies contain a so-called cookie ID. A cookie ID is a unique identifier of the cookie. It consists of a string with which internet pages and servers can be assigned to the specific internet browser in which the cookie is stored. This allows visited Internet sites and servers to distinguish the individual browser of the data subject from other Internet browsers that contain other cookies. A specific internet browser can be recognized and identified using the unique cookie ID.

By using cookies, [abrtherapy] can provide users of this website with more user-friendly services that would not be possible without the cookie setting.

  • To simplify your use of our website, both technical and session cookies are used. These cookies are therefore strictly necessary for the functioning of the website.

By means of a cookie, the information and offers on our website can be optimized with the user in mind. Cookies enable us, as previously mentioned, to recognize our website users. The purpose of this recognition is to make it easier for users to use our website. For example, the website user who uses cookies does not have to enter access data every time the website is visited, because it is taken over by the website and the cookie is therefore stored on the user’s computer system.

All other cookies are only installed / activated after your explicit and prior consent during your first visit to the website. This permission can be expressed in general, for example in response to the cookie banner. Your permission will be traced for other and future visits to the website. As a user, you always have the right to withdraw all or part of your explicit permission.

Since cookies are personal data, their processing is governed by our Privacy Statement. By agreeing to our cookie policy, you give us permission to process your personal data (in particular the cookies) in accordance with our privacy statement.

[Abrtherapy] uses the following cookies:

‘First party cookies’  are technical cookies that are used by the visited site itself and that aim to make the site function optimally. Example: settings that the user has made during previous visits to the site, or even: a pre-filled form with data that the user has made during previous visits.

‘Third Party cookies’  are cookies that do not come from the website itself, but do come from third parties, for example an existing marketing or advertising plug-in. For example, cookies from Facebook or Google Analytics. For such cookies, the visitor to the site must first give permission – this can be done via a bar at the bottom or top of the website, with reference to this policy, which does not prevent further browsing of the website.)

You can set your internet browser so that cookies are not accepted, that you receive a warning when a cookie is installed or that the cookies are subsequently removed from your hard drive. You can do this via the settings of your browser (via the help function). Keep in mind that certain graphic elements may not appear correctly, or that you will not be able to use certain applications.

GOOGLE ADWORDS – IF THIS IS USED BY YOU.

[abrtherapy] has integrated Google AdWords on the website. Google AdWords is an internet advertising service that allows [abrtherapy] to place ads in the search results of the Google search engine and in the Google advertising network. Google AdWords allows us to predefine predefined keywords that will make an ad appear in Google search results only when the user uses the search engine to retrieve a keyword-relevant search result. In the Google Advertising Network, the advertisements are spread on relevant web pages using an automatic algorithm, taking into account the previously defined keywords.

The purpose of Google AdWords is to promote our website by including relevant advertisements on the websites of third parties and in the search results of the search engine Google and an insertion of third-party advertisements on our website.

If a person reaches our website via a Google advertisement, a conversion cookie is stored on the person’s information technology system via Google. The definition of cookies is explained above. A conversion cookie loses its validity after 30 days and is not used to identify the person concerned. If the cookie has not expired, the conversion cookie is used to check whether certain subpages, for example the shopping cart of an online shopping system, have been called up on our website.

The data and information collected through the use of the conversion cookie is used by Google to create visitor statistics for our website. These visit statistics are used to determine the total number of users served through AdWords ads to determine the success or failure of each AdWords ad and to optimize our AdWords ads in the future. Neither our company nor other Google AdWords advertisers receive information from Google that could identify the person concerned.

The conversion cookie stores personal information, for example the internet pages visited by the person concerned. Whenever we visit our web pages, personal data, including the IP address of the internet access used by the person concerned, is transmitted to Google in the United States of America. This personal information is stored by Google in the United States of America. Google may pass on this personal data collected through the technical procedure to third parties.
